ClarkiiClown Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Ok- I know they are not zoos. This is as far as the open. When I bought them I thought they were zoos that we closed. They are healthy as far as I can tell. I have had them a month with no ill signs. But what the heck are they??

ClarkiiClown Posted March 25, 2005 Author Posted March 25, 2005 They arent sick. They have not changed in shape size or color. They are soft and will retract further if you poke them. All my corals are fine and my zoos are healthy. These just dont open more than this.
reef hugger Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 I had some Protopalythoa that stayed like that for a long time. They never fully opened and it wasn't until I moved them to another tank that they did open.
Prunfarm Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 I had the same thing joshnemily! They were closed for about a month and a half! I got worried about them, moved'em to my nano and still no opening. Still worried, I basted some food into their closed polyps, and w/in a week, they were open and begging for more. Clarkii, I would guess they are palys and recommend time as a remedy - they don't look unhealthy, just stubborn.
