algae? some type of encrusting coral?

don't know what it was. originally, it was flat against the rock and didn't have any raised up pieces, so i thought it was an encrusting coralline. maybe it still is, but it's getting all these raised up pieces, or funny look crap.

 

 

Any ideas? Is it just coralline? If it helps, it seems to slough mucus after every water change.

I have a little bit of that... I always just thought it was coralline.

wow. that's kinda cool. haven't seen pics of coralline algae curl up that much before.
