PFB
I noticed a long – maybe 3 to 4 inch long transparent string coming from a white “pimple” on my LR. At 1st I thought it was a hair that got in the tank, but looking at it closer, it resembles a feather with the plumes missing on one side. It appears to be some kind of a tentacle, it flows with the current and opens and closes, periodically. Again, it is almost complete transparent, you have to look very close to even see it, and it has some kind of a light slime covering it. Is it just some type of worm and is it a filter feeder? If not, I cant believe it would be possible of capturing anything larger than say a critter the size of a mite. There also appears to be several others, but much smaller in size on different parts of the LR. Any ideas? Link to comment
