Ernesto
I figured out a way to make a cheap wavemaker out of 2 ZooMed powersweep powerheads. The pre-filter the units come with has a removable plug on one end. This enbles one to place two powerheads on one pre-filter and mount the assembly horizontally. When placed in close proximity to the surface the sweeping action of the powerheads creates a nice wave-like effect. The only problem is you have to control the swivel at the contact between pre-filter and the powerhead. This can be done with plastic pull-ties. I am sure some of you have tried this already but I thought it was fun so I'd pass it on. Link to comment
