So we are spying this new rock.... and out come the smallest little pinchers. He was tearing away the soft membrane at the base of some zoa's.

 

Rock came out of FL.

It is probably A Black Fingered Mud crab - Xanthid crab. The link below says they are not reef safe.

looks like a good call to me, if you look at photos, you can kind of see the teeth on his one claw. He is too small in real live to see for me. I need better magnifing glass I guess. thanks! Funny I was just on his site looking at his phytoplankton setup too.
