caupela growth

in my 18g nano which has been running for 2 months i have a bunch of cauplea taxifolia growing. it is only about 4 inches wide and 1 high. how big should i let it grow.

also i have a bristleworm about 8 inches and cant get the bastard out, will he harm my fish. midas blenny, clown, small damsel. or my polyps.

Its a big worm, but I dont see an issue with it.

Try to coax it out with a piece of meat at night and grabbing it with tongs.

 

when the calurpia starts to get some semi translucent bubbles, prune them off. You can also hack and slash it anywhere else.

It will actualy do better and grow heartier if you do prune it on occasion. I have some that needs pruning once a week in a 10 gal, but it is Prolifera Sp. and is very fast growing.
