good site for macro id?

Have a weird but pretty purple/red macro growing on my halimeda (of all places) and before it takes hold of a rock, I'd like to ID it as friend or foe. Anyone have a good site to ID macro?

i did an image search for red macro algae on google and didn't find anything similar. was just curious if there was a good site for macro ID out there...

 

am thinking it's some kind of Botryocladia. will try to put a pic up here this weekend though.
