I assume it is another form of alge but I have no idea. I am i nthe process of gettign rid of the alge. Sorry for the poor quality. #2 Link to comment

DiverDave Posted March 6, 2005 Share Posted March 6, 2005 Yep, it's a Macro algae. A. Padina sp. It's a brown algae known to store calcium carbonate. Hopefully it will grow and your green hair algae will subside. Link to comment
