Chromis
When the instructions say "until the color changes from prink-red to clear blue" what do they mean by "clear blue"? I figured it meant see-through but it never got that far. Does that mean I have over 500ppm of Calcium or should I just be looking for blue period? If I truley am over 500ppm is this a bad thing? What can I do to lower it? Link to comment
Tidepool
Its more of a purple than a blue! At least in my tank...I noticed when it does go from one color to the next it can happen fast .So you really have to watch those drops. And yes its possible your off the scale. Link to comment
Tidepool
Oh yeah, dont worry about lowering your cal or alk levels. Your corals and coraline algae will do that naturally. Link to comment
