Yes a real micro bubble is too small to see. I guess these bubbles just picked up the name because of there small size. It's not a literal thing. Link to comment

However...so will a pod crawling on them, a fish swimming around them, a million and one other things. Microbubbles are NOT harmful to corals in any way. Cheers, Fred Link to comment
Case Posted February 24, 2005 Share Posted February 24, 2005 I am asuming they are coming from your skimmer. show us a pic of the skimmer return or tell us what yu have.. its fairly easy to do away with it. They wont do harm but for me visualy it ####es me off dammit i want clear waters weeeee Link to comment
