HuBu
instead of the shrimp, why dont you just drop in a few flakes of fish food. much cheaper and less stinky and ugly to look at. wait 30 days before adding any fish, make sure it is cycled. Link to comment
Vijay
i'll use the flakes and my lfs said they'd give me some sand out one of thier Lr setups to start the cycle Link to comment

printerdown01
I agree with HuBu... The "dead shrimp method" can utilize anything so long as it will decay and is "reef safe." Everything looks good! Question though, what do you mean by "air driven filter?" Link to comment
Vijay
imaeant skimmer not filter the airstione will only be ades to aid disolvation i ve decided to add a few pounds of Lr to aid cycling along with the shrimp as it will ecay faster as it was once alive or so i;m told Link to comment
