Six line wrasse died, twice

I have a 16 gallon bow front tank. All the water parameters are fine. I cannot keep a wrasse alive. The damsel does fine. Both wrasses I've had have been healthy and thriving then bang, he gone and eaten by the crabs and snails. Could a critter be killing him? I have a yellow coral banded shrip, and emerald crab and the assorted hermits. I also saw a bristle worm in the tank a long time ago. I know the wrasse wedges himself in a rock when the lights go out because I've seen him. Any ideas people?

My guess would be the Damsel. Very territorial and aggressive. The Coral banded, snails and hermits are just doing their job, being the cleanup crew.
