Matt2939
Would a 65 watt 50/50 be enough light over a 12 gallon for soft corals and maybe a BTA? Link to comment
afiser
Yeah that would be really good Link to comment
Pinchy
should be plenty...although if the dimensions will fit a 20inch 96W quad- i would go for taht.... Link to comment
Sergeant-G
I was told that a BTA needs stronger lighting to thrive and be happy. Here is the thread that I started http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...&threadid=50650 Take it how you want but IMO I dont want to waste money if it dies and I want anything to be happy and in an enviroment that is as natural as possible so it is doing hopefully a little of what it would do in the wild. Sarge Link to comment
Pinchy
yeah i would have to agree w/ sarge, consider metal halide for the BTA, Link to comment

EnderG60
if you can fit a 65w on a 12g yeah it will be fine for alot of stuff, but a 96w quad would be better and probly fit better as well. i have a very happy BTA under a 96w, but a halide would work out better Link to comment
