BK1
I purchased a black percula clown 10 days ago. I need some feedback on his behavior. During the day, he usually stays in front of my 10g, usually swimming against the current of my powerhead. During the night, when all the lights are closed he appears more active. He swims all over the tank and is just more energetic. Is this behavior normal? Link to comment
kovu
my clowns are more active during the day. at night they stay close to the sand and dont swim around too much. my gobies on the other hand are the exact opposite. might just be theyre personality. Link to comment
printerdown01
The spending all day swimming against the current behavior is perfectly normal. However, the night activity is odd. I'm not saying that it is bad, just odd. It might be possible that he hasn't found a place that he feels comfortable hunkering down near at night. Link to comment
BustytheSnowMaam
Is he a juvenile? My male clown of my pair acts exactly the same as yours. I have found that just about everything save floating belly-up is normal for clownfish behavior. Tasha Link to comment
BK1
My clown is a juvenile. I wanted to post my clowns behavior because from my reasearch on clowns there was never a mention of them being nocturnal. Link to comment
