ReefMonkeee
Is the flow in my tank to much. I have about a total of 340 GPH running. 200 GPH from a VA480 and 140 from the MJ 400. After putting in the VA480 my torch and frogspawn seem to really be pushed around. Is there to much flow?? BTW my tank is a Via Aqua LV680 the 28 gallon model. Link to comment
ProFlatlander15
how big is your tank? you want about 10-15 gph per gallon...a general rule of thumb Link to comment
Paladin
No, that's not too much flow. If you think your corals are being pushed around too much, then you may need to move them away from the flow. My frogspawn like the flow. It didn't do so well when I moved to an area of medium flow. But when I moved it back near the flow, it opened up so much more. Link to comment
ReefMonkeee
just updated hehe but yea. since u said 10-15 gph per gallon then 15 x 28 = 480 but i only got 340. Link to comment

BKtomodachi
I'd want more. You also almost never get the amount listed when you but the powerhead/pump... they usually up that to make you buy... Link to comment
