Mhills16 Posted January 27, 2005 Share Posted January 27, 2005 i just purchased a star polyp like 2 weeks ago and it still hasnt come out yet. i have placed it at the top of my nano closest to the light. one time for a brief second one of the maybe 100 polyps came out and went back in. should i just be patient or what? i even tried moving them around once. jazznap Posted February 3, 2005 Share Posted February 3, 2005 You might also want to keep an eye out for anything that could be bothering them. I recently had mine close up for a couple days and upon closer inspection found a bristleworm bothering them. Not the regular kind of bristleworm but a red and white version. It was living under the polyp rock and crawling up through them. Pulled the worm out and they opened the next day. Link to comment
