uglybuckling
Finally got my mantis. I think it's a Neogonodactylus oerstedii or a Pseudosquilla ciliata. Here are some pics. Hi there! RAAAWR!! You lookin' at me? You lookin' at me? Do you feel lucky, punk?! Hehe. The middle pic is the most accurate, color-wise, but it's also very blurry. This is because he's so active (and therefore hard to photograph, these were the best of ~100 pics)....he's out all the time and seems to like to pose for the camera. He's probably just curious about what those stupid humans are up to. Also eats frozen shrimp, shelled mussels (cooked or raw), and scallops like a pig. He's in my 7 gallon acrylic cube along with some corals and a feather duster....none of which he seems to be bothering so far. --B Link to comment

uglybuckling
The tank is a 7 gallon acrylic cube (12" on a side). He's getting along quite well and still seems very happy. I'll try and have new pictures to post soon....one of my friends has an 8 megapixel camera that I'm going to ask to borrow. =) Link to comment
