Red SPS bug / Interceptor treatment

Treatment Part Two:

I have the leftover semi-dissolved interceptor, and I suspended as much of the stuff as I could and added another 50 ml to my tank at 7am, then went back to bed. Over the past week, I haven't seen any more of the red bugs, but I'm going with all three treatments to be absolutely sure. At about 1pm, I changed 4 gallons of water and put 4 oz (dry volume measure) of carbon in a bag in the HOB. Polyp extension is good but I don't notice much of a difference in color yet. I'll be getting a Phoenix 14000K bulb this week, so maybe everything that I'm doing will help.

just follow the dosing guidelines. If you have any inverts that you wish to save, move them into a quarantine tank, or they are likely to die. It's a fairly foolproof remedy, and you will be glad that you took care of the problem. Just make sure you read the thread - we posted a link in the above posts.

Please post your observations/results here for the rest of us who are interested.

Thanks,

Steve
