Soonerfan51 Posted January 21, 2005 Share Posted January 21, 2005 I have a red crab w/black on the ends of his claws. He resembles an emerald crab except for the color. Does anyone know what he is? (Good or Bad) for a reef tank. Any info would be appreciated. -Mark Link to comment

mattie Posted January 23, 2005 Share Posted January 23, 2005 yup... look at claws pointy or cupped take hiim out if he does have the pointy claws he likes to eat meat... fish or anything and is hungry all the time. i have heard of the "gorilla?" crab that is emerald crab size and shape with red back with black claws that come to little points at the end eats algae, coral, small fish, shrimp and snails not so nice for a nano tank.
