Foogoo
Can zoanthids cause any harm to any neighboring corals it might be touching? Link to comment
tinyreef
bump depends on the type of zoanthids and the type of neighbors. pics and descriptions will yield you a better answer. Link to comment
printerdown01
I think it is less species dependent, and more individual dependent. You will find that shrooms and zoanthids USUALLY get along. They also appear to do just fine under MOST people's xenia. No coral will ever be safe to put near all corals... and you will never be able to stock a tank full of "friendly" corals. Each and everyone of these guys are grumpy and fight for space! Although when it comes to fighting for space these guys are usually the weaker species... What are you thinking about putting them next to (or between)? Link to comment
Foogoo
I currently have one zoanthid rock very close and sometimes touching a toadstool. I also have two toadstools that like to get close to each other but so far I have not seen any undesireable interaction between the toadstools or the zoanthids. Link to comment
