digitalsteve Posted January 20, 2005 Share Posted January 20, 2005 i am having an issue .... i have this brown powdery crap(looks like rust ) forming in may tank like wildfire... i know its not cyano as it blows of the rocks and glass relatively easily , what could this be and how do i get rid of it asap!!! Kogut Posted January 20, 2005 Share Posted January 20, 2005 I do believe that is the definition of cyano and diatoms. You still cycling? This your first algae bloom? Buy a clean up crew if you've been setup for a couple weeks. It's nothing to worry about. Link to comment
