exel170
Hey guys, listen I have a plate coral that was doing great, he was on the substrate, he was neon green and pink, his tentalcles or polyps whatever you want to call them were great and extended. Then I got some red slime. Some was on him as well. I treated the tank with Chemi Clean for one treatment of one day. Slime is gone. I removed the coral from the subtstrate to a different location as I now have hammer corals where the plate was. Hes is now like a pink purple, his polyps are barely visible. I'm a little concerned. What should I do to help him out. Has anybody ever seen anything like this with a plate coral? Please help. Thanks. Raffaele Link to comment
Kogut
Is it still in the sand? You have to keep plate corals in the sand, I know that. Are you feeding it? Try feeding it a couple of silversides or mysis. Move him to the sand if he's somewhere else. That's issue #1. Then see if he'll eat anything. Link to comment
