Shaz
In case it gets hotter, or as a temporary fix, you could float ice cold water in ziplock bags. If you do this, make sure the bags are VERY tight and are not leaking. I had to do this once, but I put hot water in my bags to get the temp of my old tank up. Link to comment
EnderG60
install fans in the hood and/or a large fan blowing on the top of the tank as well. your fish will not die, fish will be fine in temps up to 95F, corals will start to wither at 86-88F, temps up to 84 are "ok" so dont be too worried, my tank spent all summer at 83-86F, although 78-82 is ideal my experiance with ice is that it will bring the temps down for about 20 min then they go right back up, which will just cause problems, so unless you are changing it out every 15 min dont do it.
