Upgrade from 7g bow

I planning on upgrading to either a 29g or 30g breeder and I want some advice. I can't not decide which I want to do though. If I go for the 29 gallon I am going with the traditional setup with a glass external overflow. If I got with the breeder I am thinking about going with the long view where the one short side will be backed towards the wall and both long sides and one short side will be visiable. I plan on using a 10 gallon sump for skimmer and a 20 gallon fuge.
