wnuk
Down at the LFS they were having a great 30% off sale this weekend. I tried to fight my urges to buy something, but I am immature and childish. So I purchased a Gorgonian. I have been reading about them, and things seem fairly straightforward. They need med-med/high water flow and they need to be fed. Does anyone have any more advice on my first purchased coral. Cheers Link to comment
kimura
wnuk: Nice gorgonian:D I just got one last saturday and I love it! I didn't see any polyps untill later after it acclimated to the tank, and I had my output to the pump pointing at it. I did notice some slime that constanly comes off of it, as expected of course. As far as feeding goes I just put some brine and phylo plankton in a long pipet and shoot right at it. I do turn off the pump and let the small powerhead take care of some water movement. I think this will allow the other fiter feeders to eat. I plan on getting more gorgonians and probably propagating them like they did on GRAF. I 'll be attempting that later on tho. Other than that, good luck. Link to comment
