chvynva916
Does anyone know if zoos reproduce sexually? I've had a rock of green/yellow/blue zoos for about a year and now I'm starting to find individual polyps scattered throughout my tank. Link to comment
Bordello
Yes, zoanthids reproduce asexually by budding. A little offgrowth appears at the base of the parent polyp and eventually pop off. Link to comment
balla816
i would think its asexual because they split so another polyp forms off of one polyp.......so u could potentially have a tank of of zoos over time by only starting out with one zoo Link to comment
BKtomodachi
The person asked if they reproduce SEXUALLY! And the answer is yes, but you'd know it! It ususally fouls your water.... and you usually need an advanced lighting system to get corals to do this. Link to comment
