daves new nano
Hi while i was checking my tank last night just before lights out i noticed these two worm type criters on the sand near a bit of LR i wasnt shore what they are so i fished em out quick time. there about 3/4" long segmented with a pair of "legs" or breathers or something on each segment that are a pinkish colour, there bodies are grey green with a small black head tapering to a split tail. has anyone got any idea what they could be or if there harmfull to my tank? ill try and post some pics of the as soon as i can work how to get good macro shots with my camera cheers Dave "fill the unforgiving minute" Link to comment
dakine
Sounds like bristle worms, but impossible to say without a pic. Bristle worms are nothing to worry about, they are good scavengers. Some places even sell them! Try not to handle them because those things on each segment sting like a mutha. Link to comment

BKtomodachi
Hmmmmm not normal, really. The whitish one looks like a bristleworm, but I'd take the greenish reddish one out. Link to comment
Travis
Not sure what they are, but I don't think that they are normal every day bristle worms. Sorry I can't help with the ID Link to comment
