g0tfish Posted January 10, 2005 Share Posted January 10, 2005 what do you guys prefer for a beginner. the tank has been up a couple monthes and already have a large GSP colony and small zoo colony. are there any special precautions for raisin bubble coral or brain? feeding requirements? zooplex or phyto plex dosing ok? thanks Link to comment
youngandstupid Posted January 10, 2005 Share Posted January 10, 2005 I feed my bubble and brain mysis shrimp once a week, I just split up a cube and feed half to each. They are both very easy IMO they were both two of the first coral I put in my tank. Beware they both grow quite a bit and the bubble has sleeper tentacles that get quite long, mine has some over 2 inches. And they are very potent. If you have plenty of room on the sand I would go with the brain, they are not aggrassive. Also the bubble will need plenty of room to spread out, mine is a foot wide, and he was only 8 inches when I got him. Link to comment
