DevouR
Unfortunetly my staghorn crab has died Can the shell be adopted by another crab? Is the shell still a living coral? What should I do with empty stag? thx Link to comment
NanoReefer53
I believe the shell itself is living, that's why they never change shells cuz it grows with them. Sorry about your loss. Link to comment
Crakeur
my staghorns have all died as well (several in the office tank and two in the nano). I love them and watching them get around in those ridiculous shells is hysterical but they don't seem to live very long in captivity. The "shell" should continue to grow but remember, it is a low light coral so keep it in the shade. Link to comment
