Some type of worm that lives in his live rock. Please help him out, he is very worried about it. Can you can shed some light on this matter so I can put it to rest. ccjung Posted January 2, 2005 Share Posted January 2, 2005 Hey Mike, It looks like a run of the mill worm or bristleworm, but with that resolution can't really tell.. I think this is also a debated topic, but some consider these worms beneficial, while others don't. They contribute to the ecosystem of the reef by scavenging, etc, but at the same time have been noted to nip at corals.. If you need to get rid of them, there are baits and traps available.. I have around 4 or 5 bristleworms somewhere in the tank (getting huge now) but I see them as just another part of nature... Just my 0.02. Chris Link to comment

Also my little brother is interested in finding out more about your moonlights, he had a question regarding the difference between the 3/4 coral lite and the R-2.
