how many clowns

ok so im thinking of doing a FOWLR how many clowns can i get in there with the right amount of sand and rock. with those two could i also get a shrimp or somthing. i could also use my 2.5 gal as a sump if i had to( not that i know hot to set up a sump or ne thing)

I have two clowns in a 20 gallon (they are the only fish as well). I am partial to understocking tanks however. Many here say you could get away with 2 clowns in a 10 as long as you keep up on water changes, etc. I believe that would be about as many fish as it could comfortably hold.

Yes you can hold a Shrimp in there with the 2 clowns. That shouldn't be a problem

I am going to my LFS today and I am getting my first animals for my 10 gal. I am getting a skunk cleaner shrimp, 2 percs, and my clean-up crew and I think 2 clown and a shrimp are fine in a 10 gal.

Seeing as the size difference and movement is far different from clowns, a shrimp should do fine in with them. Pictures please when you get them!

btw, 2 clowns + a cleaner should be the maximum amount of fish in a 10g tank.

well it will be a month or 2 b4 i get fish for i still have som baby guppys that still need to get big enough to sell back to the fish store.
