c_hemmerich
i have 4X 20w 50/50 bulbs on my 10G and i've had a red brain for a while but recently it hasn't been opening as much as it used to when i had less lighting. i know it can't be the fact that there is more lighting and my water quality is good... what do u think it could be???? any suggeastions would help Link to comment
Fant
it is cuz of the increased light.. even tho u went from little light to not all that much as far as most people are concerned its still a sharp change as far as the coral is concerned.. try shading it a bit for a few weeks and slowly acclimating it to the full strength light.. also make sure u keep it well fed.. c_hemmerich
ok so i will put in in a dark place, recently i have not been noticing his sweepers come out when the lights come off as much as they did either... i did notice them eat a piece of brine once and then he closed up for a few days. ever since then he has not been too hot. Could that have caused him to not open also? Link to comment
