NCNBilly
Got a nice large one as a frag from SeaCrop (excellent stuff BTW) - started dosing 1ml of Kent Phyto by turkey baster righ at the base. It doesn't seem to expand much with the lights on, but I've noticed it expanding after the lights are out after an hour or so. Is this normal? Its in an area of high flow, but doesn't get any direct current - system is on an SCWD so the current should be very erratic as I've read they like. Link to comment
MaryHM
This is a non-photosynthetic coral, so yes it will be happier when the lights are out. Link to comment

NCNBilly
Wow, this guy has done a 180 - now he's fully expanded almost all the time. I was getting worried because he looked a bit shriveled most of the time. I started dosing B-Ionic about 4 days ago because I'm having problems keeping the alkalinity up about 2.5 meq/L. It's sitting nicely at 3.75 meq/L, could this have been a problem? Link to comment
