artschwartz
I took this answer from Drs. Foster and Smith website. This applies to both of your corals. The symbiotic algae zooxanthellae hosted within their bodies provides the majority of their nutritional requirements through photosynthesis. They benefit from weekly feedings of micro-plankton or brine shrimp. I have a lemnalia a green star polyp and caulastrea (candy cane) coral and I am not concerned about their nutrional requirements. I also have a tubastrea coral that does not have the symbiotic algae and that coral requires feeding. Good luck! Link to comment
