Travis Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 ok, so I went to check out my tank this after-noon and found that my candy caine coral and GSP were closed up. well the candy caine looked shrivled and was whiter than usual. everything else in the tank was fine, including my zoos, fish, and cleanup crew. The only thing I can think of that may have triggered this is I clean out some slime algae from my HOT fuge. what do you guys think? I did a water change, but unfortunantly I don't have any test kits. Link to comment

TheL.C.Reefer Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 travis, how did u clean the slime algae out of the fuge..did you use chemi-clean or just pick it out yourself?...if you didnt add anything to the tank, then i wouldnt worry much for now...test your water and if needed do partial water change..the corals you mentioned that are closed up are fairly hardy, i wouldnt worry much unless they stay closed for a few days Link to comment
