It looks like they like reefs, I wonder if it will be agresive in a 12gal nano since htere isn't much room. Boy they are expensive too. Link to comment

I'd add them to the tank last to avoid/minimize aggressive behavior. You could add it to a nano...I'm always hesitant to really add one though...the do like a good amount of room. Dr. Saltwater Posted December 1, 2004 Share Posted December 1, 2004 The Black Basslet (Gramma melacara) grows up to 4" and always discribed as 'agressive & tutorial'. If you want to add one of these fish in the tank, add them last as said above. Don't try to place any more basslets in the 12G tank, because this means war. It is however a very hardy fish once adepted to the food you give it. Link to comment
