What is it? Where did it come from? Is it hurting my tank? and how do i get rid of it? should I just take the rock out and clean it off? Guys please help Reply if you know what it is Link to comment
viking1 Posted November 26, 2004 Share Posted November 26, 2004 It looks like cyno bacteria to me. It won't really harm anything but you should remove as much of it as you can. It usually appears in new tanks and is caused be an abundance of phosphates. I use a turkey baster or a tube and siphon it out. Are you using RO water? How often do you do a water change?
