deacon hemp
Hi, i am still pretty new to reefs and was wondering if anybody has tried to do this.My nano is 3 and half months old and i have a brain that looks like its split into two halfs? Link to comment
Sahin
Hi, I dont think its quite possible. More than likely the brain coral will end up dying. If it splits of its own accord, then it will be fine. Link to comment
spectre
I agree with Sahin, fragging an open brain can be disasterous. If, and thats a big if, they do reproduce in captivity you will see a small daughter begin to form from the base of the skeleton. It will then seperate away from its mother. Very rare in captivity, but it has happened. Feed him regularly, and provide ample light and he can live for 20 years + HTH Link to comment
