ProFlatlander15
i just put in a 5 gal fuge underneath my tank, and the temperature has jumped from a nice 80.0 to about 82-83 during the day. my livestock can handle it it seems, but i dont want the tmeprature this high, i mean, its almost winter (i live in CT) and my temp is this high. did my pump of fuge lights heat up the water this much? btw, i have two incandescents over my fuge, so if i switch to flourescent or PC, would that help? Physh1
Is the fuge in the stand? If so, the light and the pumps associated with it could account for the extra heat. Being in a stand won't help as the heat just kinda soaks there. A fan there would help circulate and help get the temp back down a little. Switching to a PC would be helpfull...less heat for sure and better light. Cameron Link to comment
