equinecpa
I have a fuji finepix 2400 and it is absolutely useless for macro shots. I'd like to get something to take a few macro shots, but don't want to spend a whole lot of money (I'm already doing that on the tank itself LOL). Any suggestions? You can't all have expensive cameras, can you? Carolyn Link to comment
ApocalypticSurf6
im getting a canon power shot s1-is very soon, retail$400 but iv seen it for $300 online, they sell a $150 macro lens set for it which il be picking up as well as a waterproof housing, its going to be perfect for both tank and natural photos, cheak it out, im guessing you mean expensive by SLR, if not then your going to have a hard time finding a camera to work for you, btw the canon has 10x optical zoom, that will get you some good shots Link to comment
kraphtykabello
If you search around on here, there's a thread on how to take macro shots by putting a lens from a telescope or binoculars on your digital camera. Actually works. Link to comment
jmt
Get a 3MP Nikon Coolpix. You can pick them up for about $200. They take pretty damn good shots and they're easy to use. Great starter camera. Link to comment
WetWilly
Some of the best amateur macro shots Ive ever seen were taken by a Nikon Cool pix. Check da pawn shops first:) Link to comment
