JonPM
Now I knows these aren't living, but what causes them? I've had them almost since the tank cycled a year ago. The picture doesn't show the color properly, but they almost look like brown roots pressed up against the glass. Anyone else have these? Are they normal? Some protrude from the LS and look almost like poop, but some of these are easily a couple inches long. Link to comment
ricky1414
I believe those are worm tracks. Maybe Spaghetti worms, if I recall correctly. Link to comment
reef hugger
Those are worm and 'pod tunnels. Nothing to worry about. Link to comment
JonPM
They're kinda unsightly, kind I remove them somehow? Link to comment
fusermusic
How about just tossing around the sand right as it meets the glass. That way, you wont disturb all the worms, but along the glass will be clean. Link to comment
Howf777
if you look really closely you will see lil critters digging the tunnels. i have them all over too. just take ur algae scraper and run it to the bottom of the tank along the glass and they will disappear Link to comment
