Star fish and clean up crew

I have a 55 gallon tank. That is 3 weeks old i have 2 mollies in it to help with the cycling process. But i was wondering how long before i can add a clean up crew. I know i cant for another week or so cause im starting to cycle. But after everything drops to 0 the first time can i.

IMO you shouldn't add anything until ammonia and nitrite are 0 and stay that way for about a week. I wouldn't throw a huge clean-up crew into a new tank - there's nothing to eat yet (unless you see algae growth and pods of course).

I have some type of read alge growing on the botom like rust colored.
