My New 10-Gallon

Well ... I finally got fed-up with acrylic and Wet/Dry Filters and switched to my new tank.

- 10-Gallon AGA Aquarium

- Eclipse 1 Hood

- Custom SeaLife SmartLite32W Retrofit

- 50W Pro-Heat Titanium Heater

I moved a few animals and coral from the old 7.5-Gallon, but gave most of it to a friend for his 350 ... yes ... 350 as in Gallons! Sweet-ass-sweet!

I'll update my nano-reef website as soon as I get my webcam later this week.

I'm thinking about getting a 50watt pro-heat for my 10 gallon setup, I was wondering if you could tell me the length of the heater, I would like to keep it in my 5.5 sump/refugium, but can't find the measurements for it anywhere.......thanks

It is about 10" long, but add an inch for cord bend. The diameter of the titanium tube is around 3/4", 1" with rubber endcaps.

I just put it in tonight, so I can't speak for longevity, but as far as quality goes, I give it an A+!

Yeah, I want to add another 5 pounds, but I am being picky and can't find one that suits! I want to make an archway in the center that connects the 2 rocks in their now. I just hafta keep checking the pet shop after each shipment ... someday I'll find "My Rock"! :P
