DIY stand for a 15g tall

I've been searching, and there really isn't any advice on small tank stands. I'd like to build a 36" or higher stand for my 15g tall nano reef. This will be going on a hardwood floor, so carpet giving away isn't a problem, but should I do anything special about stabilixing the tank to prevent a tip-over. I was thinking about adding some sort of footing trim around the bottom of the stand to increase the wheelbase (so to speak) and make it more stable. Any advice about how to do this?

I'm using 2x4 for the framework and 1/4"ply for the sides, so I know it'll be plenty strong...the issue is simple stability. Thanks in advance.

I add a piece of 1x3 on the bottom as a baseboard or trim piece and also use the same on the top edge to cover the plastic trim on my 20G. I extend the top piece up a little to kind of hide the tank bottom from view.
