reeferbarra20
Are these fish a good specimen for a 2 month old reef tank? Link to comment
pineomt
not for a nano, i wouldnt put a flame angel in anything smaller the 55, and even that is small Link to comment
cadesun
my sis had one in a 33 long. it was very content. i wouldn't put one in less than a 36" tank though, and i'd wait a few more months before getting one. Link to comment
RegalFlush17
First of all i would be hesitant to add Centropyge species into a small reef becuase they can be tempted to nip at corals. I would also wait at least months to add an Dwarf Angel until your tank is established enough with amhipods and other small creatures that the fish could snack on. But it also really depends on the size of your tank. Goodluck. Link to comment
cadesun
i don't see how an angel would be any more prone to nipping at corals just because it wasn't in a huge tank. and i have never seen a dwarf angel eat pods. true, they graze, but it is on algae and sponges, not inverts. Link to comment
