Shiva Posted November 2, 2004 Share Posted November 2, 2004 I know that people have asked this question before but my gsp doesn't have green hair algae it is kinda covered in brown algae that i've been trying to blow off using a baster but its now coming off easily are there any other methods i could try to get this stuff off my polyps, they've never gone in for days at a time. not even when i first bought them they came right out and i've moved them around and they go in but come right back out. so i'm really worried about them, i'm pretty sure that the brown "algae" is the problem with them not coming out. any suggestions i would greatly appreciate. thanks. Newbie527 Posted November 3, 2004 Share Posted November 3, 2004 I am not an expert but my GSPs love a decent flow of water over them. I had them in the middle of my tank where the water was pretty stag and they didn't open all of the time and started to get algae growth on them... the algae is my fault because I use well water that I don't RO/DI...but soon I will start doing that... Also they seem to like a light feeding where I take my small syringe and take microplankton and squirt a little over them... Link to comment
