eyenstein Posted November 2, 2004 Share Posted November 2, 2004 Well this guy's been in my 32 gal. for about a year now. No ill effects, I was just wondering what exactly he may be. He is entirely noctournal only comes out after lights out. His body is about the size of a quarter, a little hairy with hairy striped legs. This pic was taken in the dark with a flash, I had to be very sneaky to catch him on film. Link to comment

SaltyDawg Posted November 14, 2004 Share Posted November 14, 2004 NOOOOOOOOoooooo definately not a porcelin crab. Porcelin crabs are whitish pink with polka dots on their carpases. That is more than likely a harmfull little devil that wiil need removing. Unless it is a blue or red legged hermit crab and it has sharp pinchers, IE his left pincher on our right.
