AaronRV45
I have Innovative Marine 10g AIO and the return pump is too powerful. Can I cut the hose going from the pump to the outlet and put a ball valve in there to reduce the flow? Or will that hurt the pump? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
You might be better off putting something on the outlet to change the flow pattern rather than reducing the flow at the source. Does that tank come with a flow splitter at least? If not, adding one would be the first logical choice to consider. Adding a Hydro flo is another interesting option. Quote Link to comment
debbeach13
What pump are you using? Quote Link to comment
AaronRV45
It looks like Innovative Marine may have exactly what I want. I ordered one and will report back with my findings. I ended up putting a 1/2" ball valve on the line between the pump and outlet to slow the water flow which works but I have been wanting a mini wavemaker. I guess this may solve that problem. https://www.innovative-marine.com/shop/SpinStream-Wavemaking-Flow-Nozzle-p184809140 Quote Link to comment
