What relatively hardy corals can sting back /anything/, and what should I avoid having stung back?

It looks pretty solidly grown onto the plug, so I think someone did properly establish this. Maybe someone with a NPS tank brought it in, they take a lot of trade-in frags.

Assuming this turns out to be NPS, I'm probably going to see if I can either return it or give it to someone else. I'm trying for a low-maintenance reef, which does not pair nicely with NPS corals, particularly not ones that need fine particulate food. If it was some kind of NPS acan (which I don't believe exists either), I could put it straight under the autofeeder and add sinking pellets to the feeder for it to eat.
