Matt_Thor
Hi Looking into turning my fluval flex 34l into a nano marine tank. Just looking for suggestions from people for lighting (with lid or without lid) Thinking fitting a light onto lid and using risers too lift lid up abit. Any suggestions/advice much appreciated Cheers Quote Link to comment
mitten_reef
i'd recommend going topless with that tank, you'll have more options on light fixture. The spacer idea is cool, there may be some LED bar type that you could consider mounting underneath. But then again, the tank seems rather short, most led bars start at 24" length. so nothing shorter than 24" comes to mind right now Quote Link to comment
Matt_Thor
Thanks for the reply. Yes I am now thinking no lid or glass lid. My only other issue is height off light above the tank because isn't much space above tank. I'm having the tank in the kitchen and has cupboards above it. (Sadly only place left in house for another tank haha) do like the phlizon 165w lights, cheap I know but alot off value for money. Quote Link to comment
